The small Farooo floor lamp was created by Marcel Wanders for the Moooi brand. The lamp is inspired by the design of lighthouses and is named after the Italian word for lighthouse. What makes the design special is that it focuses on an intense beam of light, reminiscent of the one used by ships to avoid sinking on rocks. Its lampshade is made of viscose PVC laminate. The support that supports it resembles a chess piece and is made of fiberglass and wood with an internal steel support. It is also very easy to use thanks to multiple cable entry points. The light can be dimmed using a built-in dimmer with on/off switch.
